Evelyn Buys a Pardon
Current work in progress.
Novel three, a short one. 50-60,000 words. A hundred compact perfect pages. Like Animal Farm. A novella. Entice the Twitter crowd to stretch their powers of concentration with something a tad longer than a tweet, and possibly more literary.
The playfulness of EBP resides in my portrayal of Evelyn (and in Evelyn’s portrayal of herself to Governor Pocket) as a kindly mentor to a bunch of abused children whose executive-class parents she benevolently helps to reform and enlighten. The whole truth is she has a high old time stressing her benevolence to Governor Pocket as she encourages the kids to torment their proud-slave parents until they kill themselves.
All of this subject to change at least 50 to 60 times.
